the event of a fire, a smoke alarm can save your life and those of your
loved ones. They are the single most important means of preventing house
or apartment fire fatalities by providing an early warning signal - so you
and your family can escape. Smoke alarms are one of the best safety features
you can install to protect yourself, your family and your home.
Energy Action provides the service of supplying and fitting smoke alarms. This service is provided in conjuction with Dublin Corporation and South Dublin County Council and is confined to old age pensioners living alone and in possession of a valid pension number. The service is restricted to the Dublin area only.
The smoke alarm is accepted as a GIFT and installed without liability on the part of Energy Action.
