More than 50% of heat can be lost through tiny gaps around windows, doors and floors and in older houses.
Energy Action carries out insulation work on wooden doors and windows.
Some work can be carried out on metal framed windows. Energy Action
draughtproofs the following:
- All external wooden doors;
- All windows except kitchen and bathroom;
- Loft hatch;
- Living room doors;
- Kitchen and bathroom doors;
- Letter box cover.
All installers employed by Energy Action go through a week's training
on all aspects of Draught Proofing, this training is carried out in our
training unit under the supervision of the Training Manager, The installers
are not assigned to a production team/crew until the Trainer & Training
Manager are satisfied with their work.
